Hope you are all
enjoying your 2009 one month has already slipped by and
it is time to get on top of all those jobs that need to
get done.
Information for you
The draw is due soon we are just confirming that Vic
Metro hasn’t made any changes to theirs because we don’t
want to make it hard on those clubs that are competing
in both competitions.
Information I need
CARNIVAL
Mick is finalising the number of rooms that Vic Country
will be taking. Please let us know how many player’s
intend on attending the carnival and how many have
arranged alternate accommodation on the spreadsheet
attached and email back to me. I will then pass this
information to the Carnival Co-ordinator John Cameron
and he will be in touch with the delegates in the near
future.
All of those that are attending and have requested
accommodation it is now time to pay a $200.00 deposit to
your Carnival Delegate. Once we have the delegate
details we shall provide them with bank details to
deposit the money. A timely reminder that due to the
2.5% surcharge occurred with the use of credit cards we
will no longer be accepting payments by credit card. We
do accept cash, cheques or direct debit.
WEB SITE
We are currently in the process of gaining access to the
Website and getting all the details updated. Please
email your updated committee details so we can check
that our and yours match and we can ask Bill Bridge our
new web master to update the website. The Minutes from
the AGM & Delegates’ Meeting will also be loaded to the
Website in the near future.
JUMPERS
The executive wish to collate and file all the Vic
Country club jumper designs to assist us when new clubs
wish to select jumpers or an existing club wants to
change to eliminate clashes. Please send us a copy of
your jumper design.

aspect of our game is that it is "football for fun". It
is for this reason that there
are no ladders, finals or best & fairest awards in
Victorian Country.
Egos are to be left at home. Criticism of other player's
performance, abilities etc. is not on. We are here to
do our best and have fun.
