Any new club wishing to

Admission is usually at
the commencement of the new season
New clubs would be expected to present their case for
admission to the AGM., whereupon the AGM would vote on
their admission.
Players must turn 35 by 31 December to be eligible to
play. There is some leniency to play younger players but
only in certain circumstances. Suspended players cannot
compete in Masters Australian Football..
We do not have insurance for injury to players. There is
however insurance for Officers Indemnity and Public
Liability. Details are available from

Clubs must be able to demonstrate they have a willing
and competent Executive Committee and administration
together with adequate number of players to fulfil their
obligations under the 11 game season draw.
It is not cheap to put together a team to compete in
Masters Australian Football. Most existing clubs
turnover somewhere in the order of $12,000 to $20,000
during the season. New clubs must be able to demonstrate
they will be financially viable.
Our season comprises 11 "Home and Away" games played
every second Sunday. We do not play the Easter weekend,
Queen's Birthday weekend nor on Mothers Day or Fathers
Day. You can access the current season draw on this web
page to obtain an idea of how the draw is structured.
The season normally starts early April. There is an
Easter Inter State Carnival at Pambula. The season
concludes with a National Carnival where teams from
every Australian State and Territory compete in 5 age
divisions, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55+
CLUB OBLIGATIONS UNDER ASSOCIATIONS INCORPORATION ACT
All member clubs are required to be incorporated under
the Associations Incorporation Act. There are Annual
reporting obligations under the Act. You should visit

AFFILIATION FEES &
INSURANCE
All clubs will be required to pay the following amounts:
Insurance per team = approx $500 to be confirmed on
policy renewal
Affiliation with Vic Country = approx $270 first team
plus $200 second team.
Affiliation with National MAF = approx $250 per team.
